Let us echo Colly's thanks to those who saved his life
Colly McBrien had a severe heart attack in September last year, but due to the paramedics who attended him at home, the skill of hospital medical and nursing staff and the love and care of his family, he pulled through.
Now he has gone out of his way to thank all those who helped him, and has met the team from the ambulance service who helped save his life.
So many people today take things for granted, but Mr McBrien has given a very good example of praise and thanks for people who saved his life.
There are many using the NHS who are really grateful for the care they receive from those who attend them. They can't be thanked often enough.
