North Channel link may not be a bridge too far after all
The eminently reputable National Geographic reports that the proposed bridge linking Northern Ireland to Scotland is both “practical” and “doable”, according to an independent expert.
Now dubbed “the Boris bridge” after the current Prime Minister’s recent and swift endorsement of the proposal, it was previously ridiculed as enthusiastic “pie in the sky.”
However, National Geographic has examined every technical objection and has described how each of these could be overcome.
Heaven forbid that the original objectors were spreading “fake news.”
