Politicians vote no when it comes to staycations
Our snap poll asking local politicians where they are going on holiday revealed one fact - they all intend to leave Northern Ireland.
Perhaps wrestling with the problems of constituents for the rest of year makes them want to get a complete break, although one doughty representative says he keeps his phone open for calls from citizens even when sunning himself by the pool.
Now that is really taking his role seriously.
It may not be the best advertisement for Northern Ireland tourism, but it would be churlish to deny politicians the same freedom as the rest of us to spend their free time where they like.
