Rashford runs rings round Government for great result

Marcus Rashford, a 22-year-old footballer with no political pretensions, ran rings around Downing Street and the Prime Minister and forced Boris Johnson into an embarrassing U-turn to fund free school meal vouchers during the holidays. He seized on a compelling issue and it soon became inevitable that the Government would have to give way.

He has all the trappings of a millionaire Premier League player but remembers how he went hungry at times as a youngster and wanted to spare others that experience. He showed what can be achieved through reasoned argument - a lesson for some of those leading the BLM protests.
