Restaurateur's parting shot at Belfast leaves plenty of food for thought
The restaurateur Emma Bricknell, who has three well-known premises in Belfast, certainly knows how to make her point.
She says that she is leaving for Ibiza partly because of the social attitudes in Northern Ireland, the lack of direct international travel from this place, and also the difficulty of doing business because of the stifling bureaucracy here.
There are doubtless many other reasons for her decision to move on, and many people will not agree with her views about Belfast.
Nevertheless, she may have done us all a favour.
Anything that is as critical of our main city as this is bound to lead to some debate about the points Emma Bricknell makes - and that cannot be anything other than good.
