Rugby great Rory can be proud of inspiring legacy
Rory Best has been an inspirational captain of both Ulster and Ireland, and many will be saddened at his decision to retire completely from the game after the World Cup later this year.
It was obvious from his Press conference yesterday to announce the decision that it was an emotional moment for him.
But the hardest thing was telling his eldest son Ben (8). Rory has been a hero to rugby fans for a long time, but he is first and foremost a hero to his children.
Soon he will have more time to spend with his family, which will be some consolation to him after the buzz of playing. Wouldn't it be great if he bowed out clutching the World Cup?
