Selfless Jasmine is one eggs-tra special little girl
The selflessness of nine-year-old Jasmine Parker should be an example to us all. The north Belfast girl, concerned that children in hospital over the Easter period would not get a visit from the Easter bunny, decided to brighten up their days.
She appealed for help to get 400 eggs to give to children at the Royal Victoria Children's Hospital, the Ulster Hospital and the NI Children's Hospice. And to date she has, incredibly, collected almost 700.
In a world where the motto of 'every person for yourself' is most often followed, it is great that Jasmine and her parents have shown their consideration for others who are less fortunate.
