Selfless trainee doctor Grace already a life-saver
Banbridge woman Grace McCullough hopes to be a doctor some day, but the medical student is already saving life through a simple selfless act. She decided to donate stem cells after seeing at first-hand during her studies the awful effects of blood cancer and how stem cells can transform sufferers' lives.
Grace has obviously chosen the right career, as she has displayed her compassion and her desire to care for others. She has told her story to publicise the work of a charity that recruits young people to join the stem cell register and give someone a second chance at life. When Grace becomes a doctor the profession will be all the richer for her presence.
