St Patrick's night tragedy victims are not forgotten
The death of three teenagers at the Greenvale Hotel on St Patrick's night touched people around the world, as did an image painted by a nurse of the three walking towards a rainbow in the distance. Now she has created another image of them as angels looking down over Ireland.
Both draw on a need by many to believe that the teenagers whose lives were cut cruelly short are somehow in a better place today.
The images are gestures which have been warmly received by the families still trying to make sense of the tragedy. They are comforted to know their children have not been forgotten and that others share their sorrow.
