They say the sky is the limit, but clearly there is no limit to the career of the Northern Ireland professor Louise Harra, who will be among a team of scientists at Cape Canaveral this weekend.

They will be there for the launch of the Solar Orbiter, a European Space Agency mission which will begin to orbit the star at the heart of our solar system, the Sun.

How inspiring it is to discover a woman from here with such a distinguished scientific career that is literally out of this world.

Professor Harra says that her early inspiration was a trip to Armagh Planetarium. What a successful stargazer she is now.
