Terror victims right to fight on in their pursuit of justice
This newspaper has frequently highlighted the shameful lack of aid given to those injured in or bereaved during the Troubles. Now another doughty champion of those still suffering grief and pain is adding her voice to the campaign for justice.
Ann Travers knows what those people are going through. Her sister was killed by the IRA, who were trying to murder her magistrate father.
She feels the same pain as so many others and she knows the impact on families as she has walked in their shoes.
It is often those who have suffered the most who prove capable of extraordinary acts of compassion which overshadow the heinous acts of the past.
