Why choosing the perfect Christmas gift isn’t so easy
Christmas is a stressful time when it comes to buying presents. Spouses, partners, siblings and even friends expect one, but just over half of us, according to a new survey, are not sure what to buy.
Many a man has found out on Christmas morning that what they thought was the perfect gift was not as well appreciated as they had hoped.
It is not that Northern Ireland people are mean - they spend on average £121 on their significant others. People in Newcastle in England are even more generous, forking out £184 for special occasions.
But whatever is spent, it is best to avoid the old adage that it is the thought that counts.
