About turn on marriage stance

In April 2011, The Caleb Foundation, Evangelical Protestant Society and Day One (Lord's Day Observance Society) issued a questionnaire to all candidates in the Assembly election.

One of those who gave us a full response was Trevor Lunn, Alliance candidate in Lagan Valley, and he indicated that he would oppose homosexual marriage.

We are, therefore, very disappointed that, within that same Assembly mandate, he has reneged on that commitment. He has explained his change of mind, but surely he should have held to his previously declared position until he stands again for election to the next Assembly?
