THERE is much talk of renewed economic growth among leading capitalist commentators.
The National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) has given an insight into the source of this growth.
The NIESR warns that the economy "remains over-dependent on squeezed consumers" and is not "built on solid foundations."
But it does not have to be this way. Big business and banks are hoarding vast wealth (to the tune of approximately £750bn) – that could be invested in creating real and long-lasting jobs.
