THE benefits of a bridge at Narrow Water are, in spite of Sammy Wilson's climbdown, debatable (News, May 29). What is not is that this is the worst possible location for it.
Not only did the IRA slaughter British soldiers there, but the cynical destruction of evidence at the detonation site in the Republic was sanctioned at the highest level, making Narrow Water the least appropriate place for it.
