Perhaps the narrow-minded |letter from Daithi McGonigal (Write Back, December 1) makes a valid point.
What is so wrong with a centre-right, centre-left party which is |devoid of bigotry, religious |intolerance, old hatreds and outworn cliches?
When Margaret Ritchie wore a poppy she was representing all Irishmen who died in wars.
Bullets did not discriminate |between Protestants and Catholics.
Neither should we.
