Bullets do not discriminate

Perhaps the narrow-minded |letter from Daithi McGonigal (Write Back, December 1) makes a valid point.

What is so wrong with a centre-right, centre-left party which is |devoid of bigotry, religious |intolerance, old hatreds and outworn cliches?

When Margaret Ritchie wore a poppy she was representing all Irishmen who died in wars.

Bullets did not discriminate |between Protestants and Catholics.

Neither should we.
