Cancer drug denial exposes rotten system

I READ with disgust that Carol Parkinson has been refused a cancer drug because the total cost of her treatment for one year (including present treatment) would be £26,000 (News, October 26).

Strange how some people can be taken off to expensive London clinics for a few weeks at a cost to the taxpayer of hundreds of thousands of pounds.

It seems there are two sets of rules in this country: one for the high and mighty, the other for ordinary Joe Public.

The Stormont regime is rotten to the core.

Time it went - then there would be plenty of cash to spend on health, education, etc.
