Cardinal's lack of Christianity

I WAS an admirer of Cardinal Sean Brady until hearing him on radio this week trying to defend his actions in 1975 by claiming that "standards were different then".

As far as Christians are concerned, the paramount standards of right and wrong were set 2000 years ago by Jesus Christ, and earlier than that in the Commandments, and have not changed.

Christianity appears to have been totally ignored. Surely the Cardinal has lost his way.
