Celebrate Baby George in protest

MY proposal for the Ligoniel brethren would be to organise a street party on the Crumlin Road on either side of the police lines in celebration of the royal birth.

This would illustrate to the world media that peaceful protest is possible and how objecting to any parade along such a short stretch of tarmac is a cynical attempt to drive a wedge through a vibrant community.

After all, who could object to coronation chicken sandwiches and Battenburg cake?
