Churches forum leading the way

The name of Jesus, or Christ, is spoken in contempt by many - even used as a swear word (DebateNI, March 6).

To the Christian, Jesus is the name we honour. We worship Him every Sunday using the Bible as our textbook, singing His praises.

Part of the Christian problem is the Church itself.

It has many different branches.

Church is people and can be used rightly, or wrongly.

In Coleraine and district, a group of Christians from a fair selection of different Churches meets every month as the Coleraine Borough Churches Forum.

We talk, acknowledge our differences, get to know each other, make new friends in a loving, Christian, caring way.

We invite different speakers and organisations to hear about all the good things that are happening in our province - and there are many.

Our aim is to build a community of openness and acceptance by enabling people to discover who they are by understanding the richness of their diversity.
