Council needs to end dog fouling

IT seems that everywhere I go these days I come across dog fouling.

Walk in the park, it's there, outside my home, it's there, coming home from work, it's there.

And unfortunately, due to the sheer quantity of it around Belfast, it also ends up on my shoes.

Where is the Belfast City Council wardens who are supposed to be watching for pet owners letting their dogs soil wherever they want.

Not only is it disgusting, it is also highly dangerous.

Considering the amount of dog's dirt about, it would be financially viable for the council to hire more wardens to patrol streets and fine people they see not cleaning up after their dog's mess.

I would imagine it would be a recession-proof business for the council.
