Criticisms have to be balanced

The suggestion by the Rev David McCarthy that Tom Elliott and Danny Kennedy should be disciplined by the Orange Order for attending a Catholic police officer's funeral appears totally disingenuous - especially when the head of his own denomination attended.

Surely if it is good enough for the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church to show respect to a fallen police officer, why not the leaders of the Ulster Unionist Party?

Rev McCarthy has to be consistent and apply his criticisms to all.
