Does this give Ukip a red face?
I am working in the depths of the Arabian desert and, although from Dublin, read the Belfast Telegraph as well as other Irish print media to gain a rounded view on life at home while I am away.
I was amused to read of David McNarry of Ukip calling for the reinstatement of the Red Hand of Ulster as a marketing symbol for the Northern Irish Tourist Board (NITB).
Mr McNarry must be aware that Ulster is comprised of nine counties and three of those counties are outside the legal remit of the Northern Ireland Executive.
Does Mr McNarry purport to speak on behalf of the people of Donegal, Monaghan and Cavan.
If so the the reach of Ukip has certainly been extended of late.
