Education crying out for urgent funding

When are our local politicians going to address the urgent problem of the severe lack of funding for education?

We are being told to sack teachers, amalgamate classes and manage without extended schools funding, while the organisation that was designed to save the education budget (The Education Authority) is busy looking for senior staff - one at a salary of £164,000 and six others at £75,000 to £79,000.
