I refer to the new sanctions imposed on Glasgow Rangers (Sport, April 24). How on earth can the Scottish Football Association continue to impose swingeing fines on this beleaguered club?
The Glasgow Rangers playing now is 'Glasgow Rangers in Administration'. Once the club is sold it will be registered as something like 'Glasgow Rangers 2012'.
The two latest entities of the club have not broken any rules and I wish the administrators well in the appeal against what has now been imposed. Is the SFA so desperate to put the club totally out of business? Or is there an element of bias? I dare not use the 's' word so often used.
