Help hospice service through Saharan trek

Southern Area Hospice Services are calling all adventurous souls to take part in our next overseas challenge - Sahara Desert Trek 2013. In November next year our trekkers will head off to one of the last true areas of wilderness and trek through this vast sea of sand and rock - a truly unique experience.

The eight-day trip includes six days of trekking which will average 19km each day.

It is a brilliant way to raise funds for our local hospice as well as meeting new people and having an experience of a lifetime.

Southern Area Hospice Services (SAHS) provides invaluable support and care to people, living within the Southern Health Board Area, who are suffering from Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and other terminal illnesses. All our services are provided free of charge and we rely heavily on voluntary donations to continue providing our care.

For more information about the Sahara Desert Trek contact Tracey Muldoon in the fundraising department. Tel: 3025 1333 or email muldoont@southernarea
