Hospital worthy of highest praise

There has been so much adverse publicity recently about the RVH A-amp;E department that I feel I should redress the balance.

My husband went to the A-amp;E department of the RVH, acutely ill, and from time of arrival to being in a bed in a ward was a very reasonable four hours. At all times, he was treated with respect and kindness.

Sadly, he passed away on December 6 in the City Hospital, where once again his care was truly compassionate, as was our treatment as a very concerned family.

We owe sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses involved.
