Hospitals before health boards

Instead of downgrading Omagh and Whiteabbey hospitals, keep them open and make savings by reducing the health boards from four to one.

After all, for the size of the Six Counties, we only need one. And the saving would be made by getting rid of the high management earners.

Local hospitals are good for patient morale. Why have boards when the Department of Health can run hospital services from Stormont?
