How much does it cost for MLAs to sell us out?

As a child, I was bemused at how the Government manipulated public representatives in their use of semantics.

For example, if power-sharing was sold as 'partnership' and a carrot dangled in front of their noses, how quickly would they sell their principles for power?

The DUP claimed that St Andrews did not change how MLAs are elected to the de facto joint-first minister post, but we now have our First Minister playing the Orange card on this subject.

Is it a surprise that many do not vote when many MLAs promise one thing to the working classes, then ignore most of them until the next election?
