Ireland threw the game away

Surely the coaches of the Irish rugby team would have told the players - if they didn't already know - that the opposition cannot score if they don't have the ball.

When you are leading with under three minutes to go and have a penalty to take, it should be easy to take a kick to touch, then play out the last few minutes in the opposition 22.

Our team must have had a death wish against Wales on Sunday. Again they managed to pull defeat from the jaws of victory. What a tragedy.

It did however, reflect the overall tactics of kicking the ball away, rather than running with it. Poor show.
