Is David Ford really a man of principle?
In his interview with Alliance leader David Ford (News, March 29), Liam Clarke notes that a founding principle of Alliance is a shared society.
It strikes me as odd, therefore, that their leader goes on to say, 'The DUP may not be particularly concerned about building a shared future, ideologically, but in practical terms they realise we are wasting money by maintaining division and segregated facilities.'
Are these the words of a man standing on principle? And what happens if we suddenly strike oil and can afford to spend limitless amounts on our facilities?
