Is the BBC helping Sinn Fein to rewrite history?
Listening to the Nolan Show I was amazed to hear their political correspondent claim Martin McGuinness resigned because of no progress towards an Irish Language Act.
I checked the BBC's website and was amazed to find I was right. The claim on the website at that time was it was the RHI scandal and Arlene not standing aside as First Minister which 'drove' Martin to resign.
I have often queried the rewriting of history by Sinn Fein, but am astounded that the BBC seems to be a willing participant - even when it is short-term history and could be easily checked.
I often wonder why I pay the BBC money.
