Just bewildered by Irish rugby

Does the aggregate scoreline of over 100 points from defeat in three test matches against New Zealand tell the true position of Irish rugby?

Or is the winning of five Heineken Cups by Leinster and Munster in the past six years a more accurate barometer?

True, in seven world cups we've never made the last four, but how can players from the 'golden era' of Irish rugby still lose 60-0?
