Kevin Myers writes (Comment, February 24): 'Meanwhile, across the Western world, as massacre and oppression mark the last days of secular Arab despotisms, almost silence.'
He must have missed the protests outside the relevant embassies and consulates in Dublin, London and New York.
He then goes on to claim there has been silence again with regard to the disgusting sexual attack in Tahrir Square on reporter Lara Logan.
But feminists realise that such attacks are not representative of Egyptian, or Arab, men in general.
Many of your columnist friends on the Right ran to the printing presses condemning the entire Egyptian struggle and Muslims in general based upon the attack on Ms Logan.
And, in reply to this, we got from Kevin Myers . . . silence.
