Let charity begin in the UK home

The Government is working on plans for massive cuts in welfare especially targeting the elderly, poor and disabled. The amount of foreign aid, which is not being cut, amounts to £7.7bn next year.

The countries receiving this aid include several run on a dictatorship basis, ie Yemen and Burma and Russia and China, which has the fastest-growing economy in the world.

Surely the old saying is true: 'Charity begins at home.'
