Little tolerance for Christians
The furore over a decision by a company that declined to print invitations for a gay couple's civil partnership ceremony is a perfect example of misplaced indignation (News, March 7).
The firm involved makes no secret of the fact they're devout Christians and that printing such invitations would be contrary to their beliefs. Such is their right.
Ironically, it is often those who preach about the need for tolerance who display an increasing intolerance to Christians.
This intolerance typically manifests itself in a mean-spirited "naming-and-shaming" in the media of the Christians involved.
