Meddling from PC brigade is nothing new
Gail Walker is right in her condemnation of state stupidity regarding the UKIP fostering fiasco (Life, November 27).
However, when she says she can't imagine a couple being blackballed by social services for holding "preferences [which] might be thought to be inappropriate", this has already happened.
A few of years ago, a clergyman and his wife, who had fostered for years, were asked a hypothetical question, regarding their answer to a child who might ask if homosexual behaviour was normal. When they did not answer according to the PC line, they were struck off the register - even though such a scenario might never occur.
The UKIP matter is the progression of PC state interference.
