Memories stirred of peace marches

The lack of reaction from the Muslim residents of this country to the Charlie Hebdo atrocity has put me in mind of Betty Williams and Mairead Corrigan.

The demonstration of the will of people to bring an end to IRA terrorism started with their courageous actions, and the vast groundswell from the previously "silent majority" who came out to be visible and vocal in support.

Where are their successors today?
