North Coast in right lane with parking fees

Last Monday, I went up to the North Coast on business and called into Coleraine to do a message first. I parked the car in a car park in the town centre for just short of one hour. The fee: 70p.

Today, I went into Belfast to do a message and parked the car in a multi-storey car park. I returned approximately two hours later, put the ticket in the machine and was greeted with a parking fee of ... £11.50.

I was glad I didn't stray into a bus lane or caught going faster than 20mph.

Welcome to Belfast? I don't think so. But I love the North Coast.
