Northern Ireland should follow Scotland's lead
Recent experiences with David Cameron, Theresa Villiers and Matt Baggott suggest the time has come for Peter Robinson and the Executive to take control of the northern six counties and for ties with Westminster to be severed.
An independent Northern Ireland would have the support of Taoiseach Enda Kenny, as well as President Michael D Higgins and Church leaders.
After that, it's up to the people of this island to decide its future.
