Parades issue is about freedom

The issue of parading is one of major importance in the context of policing and justice and should not be sidelined as an issue relevant only to the Orange Order.

It boils down to the fundamental right to have the freedom to use the public highway.

It is surely a ridiculous and intolerable situation in any country that a small group of so-called 'residents' should be allowed to block the public highway and thus exercise a veto on people using that road.
