Politicians need to take a stand on immigration
THE letter from Jovan Radusin (Write Back, November 18) again highlights the concern many feel about uncontrolled immigration.
People here have been very tolerant – to the extent of seeing some towns becoming unrecognisable from five or 10 years ago.
The ironic thing is, there doesn't seem to be any will on the part of political parties in Britain, or Ireland to do anything about it.
Be they unionist, or nationalist they seem too concerned about petty squabbles to see the long-term effect – and when we become strangers in our own land it will be too late to do anything.
