Presumptuous to say Catholics all nationalist

I WAS very disappointed to read your article about the Union flag Strabane T-shirts (News, August 2).

The journalist who wrote the article appears to confuse the terms nationalist and Catholic, suggesting that 93% of Catholics are also nationalist and, therefore, would have an issue with T-shirts bearing the Union flag.

This is a presumption of statistics and I find it disappointing that these labels continue to be confused in Northern Ireland.

I would urge more sensitivity by the Belfast Telegraph in future use of these terms.
