Quinn faced up to his mistakes

I firmly believe that, left to manage his own affairs, Sean Quinn would have sorted out his financial issues and paid off his debts.

A man with Mr Quinn's expertise and experience is the only person capable of sorting the financial affairs of the companies he built from scratch.

The Republic has people coming from the EU to tell it how to get its debt under control. But if, like Ireland's government, they are a compilation of solicitors, teachers, doctors and other professionals, then how are they qualified to give advice on the debt mountain?

Sean Quinn faced up to his mistakes and didn't flee the country like others in a similar position.
