Racism is worst kind of injustice
AS a committed socialist, it goes without saying that I fully supported the aims of the late Nelson Mandela.
Injustice to humanity covers many aspects. One's right to vote, slavery, mental and physical torture immediately come to mind.
But the greatest injustice of all must be the persecution of anyone due to the colour of their skin.
Those who put their lives on the line to remove such injustices (and, sadly, many did) deserve the highest gratitude from the human race.
Whatever colour a person's skin is, they had no choice in the matter. Hence, they are blameless and do not deserve to be victimised for it.
