Religion isn't a matter of pride

HOW often have you heard someone say, 'I am proud to be a Protestant/Catholic'?

I have always thought that it's the same as saying, 'I am proud to have two arms and two legs.'

Nobody has a choice about how they are born, or how many limbs they have.

A person can be proud of one's achievements, but birth-pride is a matter for Buddhists (or for those who believe in reincarnation).
