Bernard J Mulholland (Write Back, January 27) challenges the Brexit result on the grounds that non-voters and under age citizens’ rights are being ignored. He suggests we add their numbers to the No vote. What right has he, or anyone else, to assume these people would all vote No?
Has he considered the results if this logic was applied to all elections? Inevitably, the minority vote would normally carry the day. Would this meet with the European Convention on Human rights? I doubt it.
His is another example of Remainers trying to undermine the will of the electorate.
