Republicans cherry-pick to suit themselves

Over the past week, the Orange Order has been mocked and sneered at by republicans and nationalists for its aim to have the Parades Commission disbanded.

However, once again, they conveniently forget that when they didn't like Al Hutchinson as Police Ombudsman, they mounted a campaign to get rid of him.

They have now set out to get rid of Dave Cox, of the Historical Enquiries Team, as he is not doing their bidding.

And they repeatedly dismiss the findings of reports into controversial deaths until they get their desired outcome, which invariably portrays the IRA as glorious freedom fighters and the Army and RUC (who protected the innocents) as war criminals.
