Return tickets for OAPs would help save money

With regard to JC Wilson's attack on bus passes, the best way to save money would be to allow Translink to issue return tickets.

Incidentally, I travelled on the 8.45am Larne to Belfast service today.

There were four passengers, so I did not take up a "fare-paying passenger's" seat and, although we don't pay our fares, our fares are paid for.

Lastly, able-bodied passengers, at one time, would give up their seats for pensioners.

How times have changed.
