FOLLOWING the July 12 parade past St Patrick's Catholic Church, the chaplain of the Orange Order, the Rev Mervyn Gibson, was asked about some of the bands defying a ruling by the Parades Commission by playing music.
The Rev Gibson said that he could not see a problem, because the church was closed at the time.
This seems to me like a driver using the argument that it is okay to drive down a residential street at 100mph so long as there are no children outside playing football.
